I am super excited about this week's printable!
On my mission, sister missionaries were not supposed to be out past dark, so if we didn’t have a dinner appointment or a teaching appointment, we had to go home.
In one of my areas we didn’t have a lot of teaching opportunities or dinner appointments, and, it so happened that I served there in the winter.
With the sun going down at 5:00, and no evening plans, we had to get creative. I was super blessed to have a lovely companion who still wanted to work hard and stay productive, even in the apartment.
There are several reasons why missionaries get stuck in their apartments. You could have a companion who gets frequent migraines. You could have a natural disaster, like a hurricane or a massive snow storm. It could be a holiday. Or, like me, you could have a slow area in the winter.
We sat down with some return missionaries and came up with some ideas to help jump start your days at home. This printable has several cards with ideas for studying, preparing, service, and more!
Remember, these are just a jumping off point to get your creative juices flowing. Start by doing some of the items on the cards, and as you are productive, the Spirit may inspire you on other ways to work hard when you are stuck at home.
Companion sick? Natural Disaster? Pandemic? Whatever has got you stuck inside, THIS will be a game changer for your missionary.
